Jeremiah 8:10-12

10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall possess them: (A)for everyone from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, and from the Prophet even unto the Priest, everyone dealeth falsely.
11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people with sweet words, saying, [a]Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not ashamed, neither could they have any shame: therefore shall they fall among the slain: when I shall visit them, they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.
